The hunt takes place in the Osh Region, Kyrgyzstan, at an altitude of 3,500m – 5,000m (10,500 – 12,500 ft). The sheep in this area come out of China. No hunting is allowed in China so the rams that are taken out of this area have the ablilty to grow to their full potiental. The sheep are often found lower in the valleys and not in the steep cliff faces that the Ibex will be. This leads to a more relaxed expience and the ablitly to shop through groups of rams until the prefered shape and length is found. The camp is staffed with guides, a cook, and helpers.

Travel & Transportation

• Arrival: Osh via Bishkek (suggested route through Istanbul). Requires a morning arrival in Bishkek to catch the flight to Osh. We will arrange the Osh flights once we receive your itinerary.
• Flight & Road Transfer: From Bishkek, we will fly to Osh, then travel 4-5 hours by Jeep to the hunting camp. The gradual ascent helps your body adjust to the high altitude more easily.
• Transport during the hunt: Jeep, horses, and on foot.
